"O'Riley" came to us on January 26, 2019 from the Pole Hill area where he had become seriously ill. Examination by his vet revealed that his ureter was blocked and he required immediate and intensive medical care which his family was unable to undertake. O'Riley was only about three years old, born about January 26, 2016.
O'Riley was accepted by DunRoamin' and began his intensive medical treatment. He is on medication and is under observation to determine what he'll need to get better. He is a beautiful little boy who was not neutered or vaccinated, but he will be as soon as he's back to health. He's doing well, but will require a couple more weeks of medical care with his friends at the Florenceville Vet Clinic. O'Riley will require a prescription diet of Urinary S/O food to maintain his health and ensure that he does not block again. We have had dozens of cats on the diet and have never had a recurrence!
UPDATE: As of February 1, 2019, O'Riley is doing better. He still has a long road ahead of him, but we're hoping he'll be okay. He is on medication under professional vet care and he's very grateful. Donations to help with his care are appreciated.
I'm interested. How do I meet O'Riley?
