"Kix" came to us on May 6, 2018 from Glassville, NB when he and his three siblings (Rhubarb, Jakoba and May) (see above) were born to Tovah (see above), who had been brought to be spayed so that the colony in which they were living would not continue to grow and allow more of the pain and suffering already displayed by members of this colony. Unfortunately, May, one of Kix's siblings, was unable to survive, regardless of the medical care she immediately received. You can read about her on our Pet Memorials page.
Kix's mom, Tovah, was part of this colony of 19 cats who were breeding out of control and had no one to watch out for their medical, nutritional or safety requirements. Several cats and kittens had already died at this location and the remainder needed help. We accepted seven from this colony who desperately required help (Tovah, Bonsai, Jakoba, Rhubarb, Gordo, Splinter and Kix) and spayed, neutered and provided rabies vaccines, food and other care required by the others. We are able to do this only because of the support of so many caring and generous supporters. Thank you.
Kix is a very cute little boy who hopes for a loving home as soon as he's ready to leave his mom, which will be in late July or early August. We'll take good care of him until then, including his nutritional, medical, emotional and play requirements!! He'd like to thank Eryn for taking in his family and for providing such good care of them until they're ready for their very own permanent family. We're all forever in your debt for your compassionate care of these little furballs.
I'm interested. How do I meet Kix?
