"Gia" came to us on September 12, 2018 from Cloverdale, NB, where she was part of a colony of 70 that was being cared for by a gentleman who found he was unable to continue to do so. As they were breeding unchecked, he requested help to ensure the colony would not become larger and not be able to sustain itself. Winter was coming and soon both food and shelter would be hard to find. In addition, there were too many dangers for these cats to face - starvation, freezing temperatures, predators, illness, injury, etc. They needed help.
Gia was accepted by DunRoamin' - she was only a baby, born about May 27, 2018. She was healthy, but had ear mites which were treated. She was very timid. Gia was so very fortunate to be fostered by a DunRoamin' supporter and volunteer, so she, Starling and Joelle, also from the same Cloverdale colony have been living together while they become socialized, loving and trusting. We'd like to thank Sandy for all her help with these little ones. Gia and her friends Starling and Joelle are all up-to-date on their vaccines, have been spayed, tested for FIV and FeLV, treated for parasites and are anxious to begin their new lives with a loving family.
I'm interested. How do I meet Gia?
