"Bowie" came back to us on June 28, 2018. He originally became DunRoamin' on Valentine's Day, 2017 when he came from the Perth-Andover area where he had been trapped in a vacant house for at least several days. It took his rescuer some time to convince him that he would be safe and loved if he came with her. He is a handsome and wildly affectionate little boy who loves everyone he meets and eagerly greets newcomers with loving head butts. He was born about July 29, 2015.
Bowie was diagnosed with a condition which required him to eat Urinary S/O food only. This is nothing serious at all - he just requires a special diet to ensure his ureter does not become blocked. He also had an upper respiratory infection, but he was quickly well over that. Bowie was also diagnosed with a cataract in his right eye which was treated. He has a slight mark on his cornea, but he's just fine. He also had an inflamed bladder wall, but had no bladder stones, which is a good thing. He was treated with fluids, pain medication and antibiotics, as well as supplements to soothe his bladder and as long as he eats his prescription food, he's perfect! Bowie was adopted on January 3, 2018 to a home in Moncton, but was returned when his new family had to move into an apartment that would not allow pets. Bowie thinks this is just not right.
Bowie is a beautiful little boy who would like nothing better than to have a permanent family where he can live the rest of his life. And if his buddy Waffles (see below) could go with him, he'd be ecstatic. Please come meet him!
I'm interested. How do I meet Bowie?
